Lambe Cup & Cody Cup Matchplays 2021

Finally against all odds the October league has been completed!. Congratulations to team Tralee who with a full team turnout in the final round combined with great scoring managed to leapfrog up the leaderboard and into first place. Full results are in the file below.

7 junior golfers from Kilrush participated in the Clare Parklands Golf Championship in East Clare GC on Saturday 26th of September. Aaron & Darragh Townsend, Steven Fennell, Rory Lillis, Evan McGibney, Padraig O'Driscoll and Tom Clancy had an enjoyable days golf in fine weather and course conditions.

The draws for the Lambe Cup and the Cody Cup have been made. See Matchplay file below and the draw will also be posted on the noticeboard later in the week.

During August we were invited to bring 16 young golfers to Spanish Point GC for some golf matches and food - the following week Spanish Point visited Kilrush GC for more of the same. Some great golf played and new friends made. Spanish Point won the contest by 10-6 and we look forward to continuing this event in 2021.

With 3 stableford scores to count from the 5 players, our scorers were Tom 33pts, Kyle 30pts, Rory 28pts - Evan and Darragh were backing them up close behind!
